Image upload specifications

Required image sizes and file formats across Fundraise Up.

This article covers all image upload locations in the Fundraise Up platform. For each location, you’ll find minimum required dimensions and permitted file types. Images can have any aspect ratio, as long as they meet the minimum size requirements.

Receipt

Go to Settings > Receipt to upload:

  • A logo for PDF receipts.
  • A signature image that appears above the signature name.

Only Organization Administrators can upload images for receipts.

Tributes

Tributes allow to make donations in honor or memory of someone. When a supporter creates a tribute, they can send an acknowledgment e-card to notify the honoree or their family. These e-cards incorporate images from customizable image collections that you manage.

Image collections

You can create your own image collection for tributes. When you enable Tributes for a campaign, supporters select images from these collections for their e-card acknowledgment emails.

Go to Settings > Tributes to customize these collections. Image collections are only available for dedications sent by email, not for postal dedications.

The system includes several pre-made categories with images. You can:

  • Modify existing collections.
  • Create new collections.
  • Include up to four images in a category.
  • Set display order by dragging categories or images.
  • Rename categories.
  • Download, replace, or remove images.

When supporters compose dedication messages in Donor Portal, they select images from these categories using the dropdown menu.

Tribute e-card

If you disable image selection in Tributes (Campaigns > [Your campaign] > Settings > Tribute > Allow supporters to select an email card image checkbox checked), the system uses a default image for all e-cards.

To configure this default image:

  1. Go to Settings > Emails > Tribute > Tribute e-card.
  2. Upload your image.

Fundraisers

Supporter-driven can include an image that appears in the About the fundraiser tab in the Checkout Modal or on the Campaign Page.

The Image Card element creates an interactive card with three components:

  • An image (appears at the top).
  • Text.
  • A button.

The QR Code element generates a scannable code that directs supporters to your campaign’s checkout. You can:

  • Upload an image to appear in the center of the QR code.
  • Download the finished QR code as SVG or PNG with transparent background.

Benefits

You can add images to benefits and their options. These images appear to supporters in checkout on Campaign Pages.

  • Benefit image. Represents the benefit in checkout. Each benefit can include one image.
  • Option image. If a benefit has options (for example, T-shirt sizes or colors), you can upload one image per option value. In checkout, supporters see the option image if it’s provided. If no image is uploaded for an option, the benefit image is used as a fallback.
